Becoming a Patient

Customized, Individualized Treatment

We commend you for considering treatment for yourself or a loved one. We are here to help in every step of the way – from initial contact through aftercare.

A hallmark of Victory Park Recovery Center is the commitment to providing highly individualized care to each person. The starting point for that individualized care is a conversation with an admissions team member. Our admissions team can help verify insurance, schedule an assessment, or any questions you have about our treatment program.

We have a treatment specialist available to help you, free of charge, and confidential. Your treatment specialist can provide you with information on each of our programs.

Consultation

Your treatment specialist will work with you over the phone to complete a pre-admission assessment, a 15-to-30-minute evaluation of you or loved one’s addiction history. Your treatment specialist will learn about your history to help identify what program will best for your individual needs. We will work with you as well as your loved ones or treatment provider to gather all necessary information.

Insurance Coverage and Payment Options

To expedite the admission process, we will also collect your insurance and financial information during the initial phone assessment. Quickly, after we verify your insurance benefits and walk through co-pay and payment options, we can match you to the treatment program that best fits your individual needs.

Admission

Your treatment specialist will stay in contact with you and your family to ensure the admission process runs as smoothly as possible. Treatment specialists will also stay in contact with the residential facility and transportation staff to ensure an easy admission. Your treatment specialist will set up an in-take appointment where you will complete the admission process and begin the steps towards recovery.

Our patients must be 18 or older. Our pre-admission process includes a health screening including mental health, review of medical history, and a full substance abuse history including usage history. The admission process typically begins over the phone.

Upon admission at Victory Park Recovery Center, our admissions team will greet individuals and complete a full assessment. During the assessment, an admissions team will complete physical and psychiatric evaluations to identify any emergency medical issues that require immediate attention. The assessment will also help to identify any signs for potential concerns. After the assessment is complete, an individualized treatment plan is created for the patient. It will address any drug and alcohol addictions along with any co-occurring disorders. From this point, an individual therapist will be assigned to each patient. The patient will have weekly sessions with their primary therapist and psychiatric team member if necessary in addition to participating in group counseling to provide further foundation in early recovery.
